Please call (310) 430 3990 or email to schedule an appointment or to inquire about therapy. In preparation for your first appointment, please complete the Patient Intake Forms and bring with you to your session. If you would like to integrate your care with other health professionals or family members, please complete a Consent to Release Form for each person.

Appointment Policies

Your appointment, once a mutually agreed upon hour has been selected, will be reserved exclusively for you each week. Additional sessions may be scheduled as needed.

You are responsible for your appointments. If you must cancel an appointment, please notify me immediately. If cancellation is made within less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full fee.
Your therapy session, unless otherwise arranged is set for 50 minutes.

Telephone Communications

You may reach me by phone to leave messages. I will return your call as soon as I am able. I am available for phone consultation, however, not for phone sessions unless arranged 24 hours in advance.

Email and Text Communications

You can email or text me for appointments only. To respect the therapeutic frame and the efficacy of our work together, I ask that you reserve communication during our sessions. I will not respond to email or text communication that is not appointment related.

Confidentiality

All information and records obtained in the course of your counseling shall be held in strictest of confidence and privacy and will not be disclosed to any person or agency without your written consent. Legally mandated exceptions to the participant/counselor privilege of confidentiality are as follows:

  1. If I have reasonable cause to suspect child or elder abuse or neglect, I am legally and ethically bound to report to the appropriate authorities.
  2. If I have reason to believe that you may be a serious danger to yourself or to others, I have a legal and ethical responsibility to inform the appropriate authorities, as well as any individual(s) who might be endangered.
  3. There is no privilege of confidentiality:
    1. a) If you request my services to establish a defense in court; or
    2. b) If you are assigned to me by the court, or by Child Protective Services; or
    3. c) If you take legal action in court against me.
  4. Pertinent information could be given to medical personnel in case of emergency.
